About Unifyr
Unifyr is a US-based SaaS company building partner ecosystem management software, helping businesses manage their channel partners, resellers, and alliances in a single platform. At the time of engagement, the team was scaling their commercial operations and needed to replace a legacy CRM with a modern, maintainable stack. Unifyr's situation is one of the most common we see: a fast-growing SaaS company that has outgrown Salesforce and needs a Salesforce to Attio migration executed quickly without losing a decade of historical data.
The Challenge
Unifyr was running on Salesforce - a system that had become too heavy, too expensive, and too slow to maintain for a team their size. The decision to migrate from Salesforce to Attio had been made; the challenge was executing the migration cleanly and fast. MVP go-live was set for late January 2026, with a hard internal deadline.
The scope for this Salesforce to Attio migration was wide for a short timeline:
Full Salesforce data export and migration: People, Companies, Deals, and Activities all needed to be extracted, cleaned, and imported into Attio without data loss.
New Attio data model: The object structure, lifecycle stages, pipelines, and associations all needed to be redesigned from scratch - not simply copied from Salesforce.
Two sales pipelines: A Sales pipeline and a CS pipeline both needed to be built and configured in Attio.
Integrations: A Typeform to Attio connection for demo request routing, and a custom Usage Data object for product signals.
Team enablement: Full CRM training for Sales, CS, and RevOps on the new Attio setup.
Our Approach
Novlini delivered the full Salesforce to Attio migration in 7 days over the month of January 2026, with go-live achieved on schedule.
Salesforce Data Export and Cleaning
We extracted all records from Salesforce - People, Companies, Deals, Activities - cleaned and normalized the data, and mapped it to Attio's object model. This included resolving duplicate records, fixing association integrity, and preparing clean import files. A common bottleneck in any Salesforce migration is data quality; we addressed it before the import rather than after.

Attio Data Model Redesign
Rather than replicating Salesforce's structure, we rebuilt the Attio data model to fit how the Unifyr team actually works: clear object associations, lifecycle stages aligned to the real sales and CS process, and a custom Usage Data object to track product signals at the account level - ready for API connection in Phase 2.

Attio Pipeline and Integration Setup
Two pipelines built and configured: Sales (from first contact through close) and CS (post-sale onboarding, expansion, and renewal tracking). Typeform connected to Attio for inbound demo request routing - new form submissions automatically create or update records in Attio.

CRM Training and Documentation
Live training sessions delivered for Sales, CS, and RevOps. Full documentation of the Attio data model, pipelines, and workflows handed over at project close.
Technology Stack
Attio — CRM, pipelines, data model (replaces Salesforce)
Typeform — demo request form, connected to Attio

The Results
Unifyr went live on Attio on schedule - 10 years on Salesforce, replaced in 4 weeks without losing a single core process.
Salesforce retired on deadline - go-live achieved before the internal cutoff, with zero disruption to the commercial team
10 years of historical data accessible - all records, activities, and associations migrated and searchable in the new system
Sales and CS running in parallel from day one - two pipelines operational, each team trained and independent
Inbound no longer manual - demo requests from Typeform routing directly into Attio without human intervention
Data model built for the next stage - Usage Data object in place, ready for product API connection in Phase 2
"Novlini was able to help us migrate from Salesforce to Attio within a month. We had used Salesforce for over 10 years before that and we were able to keep all the core processes working in that short time frame."

Why It Matters
Most Salesforce to Attio migrations fail not because of the technology, but because of scope creep, data quality issues, and teams that don't know how to use the new system. Unifyr's migration worked because the scope was defined tightly, the Salesforce data was cleaned before import, and the team was trained before go-live - not after.
For any SaaS team outgrowing Salesforce and looking to migrate to a modern, API-first CRM without a 6-month project, this is the playbook.
