What is Allo?
Allo is a visual collaboration workspace that combines whiteboards, documents, and meeting tools in a single environment. It is designed for teams that think and work visually — mapping out strategies, running workshops, building process documentation, and collaborating on complex projects without the constraints of linear document editors.
How novlini uses Allo
GTM strategy workshops
We use Allo to run discovery and architecture workshops with clients — mapping out sales processes, data flows, CRM structures, and GTM motions visually before building anything. A shared Allo board is significantly more effective than a slide deck for collaborative design work.
CRM architecture documentation
Before building an Attio workspace, we document the full data model in Allo: objects, relationships, lifecycle stages, automation triggers, and integration flows. This becomes the reference document that guides the build and onboarding.
Async collaboration
Allo boards serve as persistent collaboration spaces for projects running across time zones. Clients can leave comments, annotate designs, and add context asynchronously — reducing the number of synchronous meetings needed.
Process documentation
We use Allo to document GTM playbooks — outbound sequences, CRM governance rules, onboarding flows — in a visual format that is easier for teams to follow than a written SOP.
Why visual collaboration matters in GTM work
GTM architecture is inherently spatial. The relationship between tools, data flows, automation triggers, and team workflows is difficult to communicate in text. A well-structured visual board cuts alignment time in half and reduces errors during implementation.
Allo is our preferred tool for this because it combines whiteboarding with document-level structure — not just sticky notes.
