About Plume
Plume is a fast-growing player in the crypto space, building a modular blockchain for real-world assets (RWAs). Their business involves managing complex relationships across multiple fronts, including their GTM, Ecosystem, and Grants teams.
The Challenge
Plume's initial Attio setup was struggling to keep pace with their rapid expansion. The CRM had become disorganized, leading to inefficiencies and a lack of clear visibility.
Disorganized Data and Pipelines: Attributes were inconsistent across their GTM, Ecosystem, and Grants pipelines, making it difficult to get a unified view of their operations.
Lack of Automation: Key processes, such as deal creation from inbound forms and handoffs between the Business Development (BD) and Ecosystem teams, were entirely manual.
Insufficient Reporting: The existing dashboards were not robust enough to effectively manage teams or track performance, forcing leadership to rely on manual weekly reports.
Our Approach
We conducted a comprehensive project to audit, clean, and rebuild Plume's Attio CRM, focusing on standardized processes and powerful automations.
Methodology: The hardest part of the project was the high degree of customization required. We executed a full data and system audit, standardized their pipelines, and automated key cross-functional workflows.
The Stack: We built a direct integration between Attio and Slack to create a custom notification system.
Data & Automation: The best part of the solution was the custom Slack integration. It allows for customized alerts with action buttons directly within Slack, enabling team members to update Attio records without leaving their communication hub. We also built a new suite of dashboards for actionable, real-time reporting.
