About Glyf
Glyf provides innovative software for designers, building a community of creative professionals. Their early-stage growth was driven by direct outreach on platforms like LinkedIn, and their entire sales pipeline was managed from a single spreadsheet.
The Challenge
Glyf's spreadsheet-based process was not sustainable and presented several challenges as they began to scale:
Disorganized & Unscalable Data: All contact and deal information was in one place, making it difficult to track interactions or get a clear view of the sales funnel.
Manual LinkedIn Workflow: The team was spending significant time on manual data entry from LinkedIn, a primary channel for their outreach.
No Structure for Freelancers: Their spreadsheet couldn't effectively group or distinguish their large user base of freelancers from larger company accounts.
Our Approach
We built a new Attio workspace from the ground up, designed to be the central hub for all of Glyf's sales activities, with a special emphasis on their LinkedIn-heavy workflow.
Methodology: We moved all legacy data from their spreadsheet into a newly structured Attio workspace and built a basic but effective sales pipeline view to give the founders a clear overview of their deals.
The Stack: The solution centered on configuring their Attio workspace and leveraging the Attio Chrome extension to streamline their LinkedIn prospecting.
Data & Automation: We used Attio's AI to intelligently classify contacts as "Freelance/Self-employed" or "Employed," solving a key data organization challenge and improving overall data quality.

The Results
The new Attio CRM provides Glyf with the tools needed to manage their sales process effectively and scale their outreach.
A Central Source of Truth: All contact and company information is now organized in one place, providing a clear and unified view of their sales pipeline.
Reduced Manual Work: The direct integration with LinkedIn via the Chrome extension has significantly reduced the time spent on manual data entry.
A Scalable Foundation: Glyf now has a robust CRM that can grow with their business, providing the foundation they need for future sales efforts.
Why It Matters
For an early-stage startup, moving from a manual spreadsheet to a structured CRM is a critical step for growth. It provides the clean data, clear visibility, and efficient workflows needed to build a scalable and repeatable sales process.
