What is Cal.com?

Cal.com is an open-source scheduling platform that automates meeting booking for sales teams, founders, and revenue operations. It handles availability routing, booking pages, team scheduling, and calendar integrations — with full control over the configuration and without the Calendly pricing model.

Cal.com is our default scheduling tool at novlini and the one we recommend to clients building inbound or outbound meeting workflows.

How we use Cal.com in GTM stacks

Discovery call booking

Cal.com powers the booking flow for our own team and for clients' sales teams. A well-configured booking page with the right questions, routing logic, and confirmation automation removes friction from the inbound handoff and gives reps full context before the call.

Routing forms

Cal.com's routing forms qualify inbound leads before booking. A contact answers three to five questions and lands on the right calendar — whether that is a discovery call, a product demo, or a specific team member — without requiring manual intervention.

CRM integration

We connect Cal.com to Attio so that every booking creates or updates a record in the CRM automatically. Meeting type, form answers, and scheduling timestamp are all captured without a rep doing anything.

Outbound confirmation flows

When outbound sequences generate a meeting booked, Cal.com handles the confirmation, reminder, and rescheduling flow. Connected to Make or Pipedream, it triggers downstream automations: Attio record update, Slack notification, pre-call brief generation.
