About Glyf
Glyf is an early-stage startup helping founders raise funds by leveraging their existing network. Their workflow revolves almost entirely around LinkedIn — from sourcing leads to managing warm intros. But they lacked a centralized system to manage relationships and track activity.
The Challenge
Like many startups, Glyf was operating from a scattered mix of LinkedIn inboxes, spreadsheets, and memory. They needed a CRM that:
Centralized their entire LinkedIn contact base
Was flexible enough to evolve with their strategy
Integrated smoothly with their lead capture workflows
Objectives
Create a CRM system entirely based on LinkedIn data
Sync, structure, and enrich founder/investor contacts
Make network segmentation and follow-ups easier
Eliminate the manual effort of tracking outreach and warm intros
What We Delivered
1. Smart LinkedIn → CRM sync
We implemented a workflow to extract and clean data from LinkedIn, and sync it into Attio:
Used browser extensions and automation tools to extract connections
Cleaned and enriched data via scripts and manual validation
Designed a schema in Attio to mirror LinkedIn's logic: connections, intros, messages
2. Contact intelligence system
Built custom objects and fields in Attio to:
Track where a lead came from (intro, cold reach, event, etc.)
Record who introduced who, and when
Keep context with custom notes and last-contacted fields
3. Process visibility for the whole team
Created shared views and dashboards for:
Current outreach cycles
Warm leads, cold leads, intros in progress
Contact prioritization by round, geography, and industry
Results
Unified contact base: All LinkedIn leads now live in one clean, searchable database
Network-driven growth: Glyf tracks how intros propagate through its network
Founder-focused UX: The team can manage their fundraising pipeline without leaving Attio
Why This Matters
If you're a founder-first company operating through intros, events, and warm leads, traditional CRMs won't cut it. Glyf’s setup shows how Attio can become a founder’s second brain — built entirely around LinkedIn relationships.
